Adidas is a clothing company which worked with several famous artists and over the years has improved its standards in quality and sometimes even goes down the path of being a luxury brand even though they are primarily mainstream. It's brand values are authentic, passionate, innovative, inspirational, committed and honest (as stated by Adidas) Adidas describes its brand values as more than just clothing but more towards the idea of achievement and emotional connection. By wearing Adidas clothing you have the confidence to do better in your art. In the lines of appeal it is suggested that Adidas as a brand applies to: happy families, luxury, successful, art, culture, history, self importance and beautiful woman. I would personally associate with this brand because they produce quality clothing which I'd wear.

Being a leading manufacturer and retailer of new technology, Apple is widely respected by people in the industry and consumers around the world. As of Oct, 2015 Apple is the 5th ranked company making it very valuable. This reflects well to the products that it sells - heavy price tags on new technology which can be seen as a luxury often times. Apple's brand values are luxury and refinery and perfection. The lines of appeal are: successful careers, rich, updated, self importance and art. I would associate with this brand because I respect the background of it and the fact that they are able to be innovative and provide myself technology that I would use.

A German automobile manufacturer which focuses on producing luxury cars, buses and trucks. It is one of the most recognizable car brands out there and there is not much to say about it but the fact that their cars starting price is around £20k and up to £30m for some classics such as the 1954 Formula race car. The brand values and lines of appeal are: rich, luxurious lifestyle, dreams, fantasy, elite people, upper-class, successful careers, art, culture and self importance. Personally I can not say I would associate with this brand because I could not afford a car from this brand nor do I live in a upper class family therefore it does not appeal to me.

An application which made listening to any music possible around the world, easily accessible with a very simple interface. It gave opportunity for artist's music to be reached to a greater audience and it has done so. Its a successful brand with its values being about sharing, love, creativity and accessibility. The lines of appeal to this brand are happy families, romance, love, excitement, art, culture, history and childhood. This brand totally appeals to me because I use the Spotify premium service everyday. I believe it is a great platform for anyone wanting to explore genres of music they never thought they would like.

Virgin Atlantic
A British airline owned by Richard Branson who is a highly prestigious businessman and investor. This airline is considered as more of a luxury or perhaps a 'one-off' when booking a flight for a holiday - this is how a middle class person would act. If they were flying to a luxury holiday then they may choose this airline however on the other hand the upper class use this airline frequently. It is considered for travelling businessmen or rich families as tickets range usually from £1000 plus. The brand values and lines of appeal are: happy families, dreams, fantasy, rich, elite people and successful careers. I would appeal to this brand only on special occasions when travelling to exotic destinations however this is not a brand I'd be associated with mainly.
